Asterisk playback files

We need two registered users in iax. This is because we are going to use the IAX2 protocol. On the picture above you can see our extensions. We want to show you the Playback application with its option skip.

So, as we have mentioned before, this option will turn off the built-in Answer application. In this case if we want to hear our sound file, we have to add an extension for answering the call. If we do not use the option skip , we can omit the extension for answering.

It cannot be changed. So, in our example when somebody dials , the call will be answered by the Answer application. Then the caller will hear the sound file.
