These modes are nicely integrated with some of the mechanics that have become a staple of modern Tetris, like the ability to hold a piece for later use. Or the ability to continue spinning a piece once it lands. Nothing revolutionary, sure. But enough to make Tetris Worlds as engaging as its classic iteration, and tons of fun on the PS2.
